Every Day Real Life- Dining Rooms

Today I am linking up with Kelly over on Kelly’s Korner! She is currently doing a Friday blog series on “Every Day Real Life Home Tours!”

This is the second week, and we are focusing on dining rooms! If you don’t blog, you can post your pictures on instagram using the hashtag #everydayreallifediningroom ! I am so excited about this home tour series because I LOVE looking at other people’s homes!

I love, love, love my dining room. That’s probably a weird thing to say, but it’s so true! Isn’t it cute??

I know that most people would put curtains on that big window, but I haven’t gotten around to it. I personally love the light that comes in through that window, and I love the picture frames I have on the side of the windows. I don’t really want to cover those up with curtains!

I LOVE love love my dining room table. I had my eye on it for a long time, and finally purchased it last July for my birthday! We got it at Rooms to Go during their Fourth of July sale and got a great bargain on it!

The wooden box in the center of the table is from Magnolia Market in Waco. I love how it looks on the table. I painted the mason jars myself and added the flowers. I think it adds the perfect rustic look!

The rug is from Ross. Yes, you read that right, Ross! We have learned that Ross has the cutest rugs at the best prices. We buy all of our rugs there! I stalked several Ross stores for several weeks until I found this one, but it is so perfect. I love how it really lightens up the room!

I love my dining room, and I love hosting meals here. I can’t wait to see everyone else’s dining rooms!

See you next week when we share our master bedrooms! (Which our master bedroom is my FAVORITE part of my house!)

Happy home decorating!

  1. Lovely room–I left my windows curtainless for many years because I actually love the light and didn’t need privacy in the dinning room anyhow. After 8 years, I did just add drapes, though I bet I will never close them!
