Summer Reading List

This is not a sponsored post. I just really, really love my Happy Planner and want to share the love and ideas!

Perks of being a teacher: Summer, and all of the time that summer allows for recreational reading!

ReadingList

I’ve been an avid reader pretty much ever since I learned how to read. I was the kid who got in trouble in elementary school because when we were suppose to be reading from our textbooks, I had my book open on top of the textbook reading it instead. I was the kid who got in trouble because I’d hide under my covers at night with a flashlight reading my book. I was also the kid who won the school reading competition in 5th grade because I read over 50 chapter books in one month. Is it really any surprise that I grew up to be a teacher?

At the beginning of summer, I decided to gather some of my favorite MAMBI supplies and make myself a summer reading list! I used MAMBI notebook paper, MAMBI washi tape, MAMBI stickers, and the new MAMBI stamps to create this list.

I took my favorite MAMBI washis and decorated the tops and bottom of the pages. I wrote out the title, but used MAMBI alphabet stickers to spell out “Big Books”. I used the black checkbox stamp and stamped down the left side of the page. I then went to my favorite facebook reading group (The Llama Library) and found recommendations for books that I might enjoy. I added the titles to my list!

We are only two weeks in to summer and I’ve already checked off five of these books. I still have 8 lines to fill in though- what books do you recommend for me to add? I’d love to hear your favorite books! Leave a comment below or go tell me your ideas on my IG- @kellofaplan !
Happy planning!
