Botanical Garden- Week 2

This is not a sponsored post. I just really, really love my Happy Planner and want to share the love and ideas!

Here we are, at the end of another week in our planners. This is week two for me in my Botanical Garden Happy Planner! I don’t know about you, but I am loving mine! Today I wanted to write an overview of my second week in my Botanical Garden planner! To catch the past weeks in this planner, click the link(s) below:

I was so excited to begin planning for this week in my planner for multiple reasons. The first reason was that it would be my first time to EVER use a weekly kit- and this is from MAMBI’s new weekly Value Pack of stickers! I was so excited to put some of those stickers to use. (Some of the stickers are also from other MAMBI packs- they aren’t all from the weekly kit!) The second reason I was super excited about this week is because it is one of my favorite weeks of the year- 4th of July AND my birthday! Above, you can see my layout before the pen. I chose to cover the floral accents by the “Life is meant for good friends and great adventures” quote because I didn’t think the floral went very well with my theme for the week. I still loved how it all turned out, and was very excited to start filling it in!

I am loving using the little notepaid sheets for my dinner plans. In my older planner I wrote the dinner plans under the notes column, but I love that this method allows the Notes column to be used for notes! I also punched in some MAMBI pocket page cards that matched my theme for the week. Lastly, I added in my clear dashboard that says “Today” on the top. This dashboard allows me to quickly and easily flip to the current week in my planner!

Here is my mid week spread picture that I took on Wednesday. I love taking a midweek spread because it really keeps me accountable for filling in my planner on a daily basis. I also love to track the progress, and I think my followers on IG also love the midweek update.

Here is another midweek shot that also shows the added in pages for the week. I was able to use so many different stickers from the four MAMBI value packs that I bought, and I love how they all make my planner so functional yet so cute!

Above, you will see an upclose shot of the second half of my week. Thursday consisted of a lot of prepping for the weekend. I was determined to not do anything that wasn’t FUN on my birthday, so I had to get a lot of chores done on Thursday! Friday-Sunday was a three day birthday celebration around here, and it was so much fun. I loved every second of celebrating!

I am so thankful for such a wonderful first week of summer break, and I love how perfectly it was all planned out in my planner. I am loving  every second of planning in this new planner! How did your second week turn out in your new Happy Planner? I’d love to hear about your second week and see photos! Leave a comment below or go tag me in your picture on my IG- @kellofaplan !
Happy planning!

  1. I love this! I’m currently in the middle of writing a post about the month of July and this made me so much more excited about it.
Quick question, I noticed the pens you used and was wondering if they bleed through the pages?

    1. In my old planner they never ever did, and I never had a problem! In this planner I’ve noticed they DO if I write too hard. I’m trying to find the best method of writing so that they don’t bleed through because these are my FAVORITE pens!

      1. Dang it! I’ve been using my sharpie pen to write which I like, but don’t love. I know every time I use these pens to write I love them so I was really hoping they didn’t bleed. But thank you! 🙂
