Be Bright- Week 2

This is not a sponsored post. I just really, really love my Happy Planner and want to share the love and ideas!

Our second week in our new planners is wrapping up, and  I don’t know about you, but I am loving mine! So far I have started in Botanical Garden- which I plan to use as my normal day-to-day planner. You can see my  most recent post about planning in that planner by clicking here. Today I am going to update everyone on my second week of planning in my Be Bright memory planner!

I knew this week would be tricky in my memory planner. Monday was the 4th of July so I wanted to decorate with an American theme, but my birthday was Friday and I wanted a semi-birthday theme for that part of the week. I decided that the perfect solution to this problem would be to use a page from The Happy Planner Page Protector packet! I used different MAMBI pocket page cards to decorate each side to coordinate with the theme. It worked out really well for me!

Above, you can see the first half of the week with the coordinating side of the pocket page. I really loved how it turned out. I used some stickers from MAMBI’s new weekly coordinating value pack of stickers as well as their seasonal value pack. (Isn’t that 4th of July sticker ADORABLE!!!)

This is an up close shot of the the first half of my week. My sister and her family moved back to the area on the 2nd, and I loved using my memory planner to record our adventures from the week. I am loving spending so much time with my littlest niece. She is so adorable! And of course, days by the pool need to be recorded as well!

Here is an up close shot of the MAMBI pocket protector page. The cards are from the themed cards- months of the year MAMBI pocket page card set. You can get them from the MAMBI shop, but I picked mine up from a local Tuesday Morning store. They have cards from the entire year, so I’m really looking forward to using those in my memory planner throughout the year!

And here is the second half of my memory planner for the week! I went with bright washi and stickers because it was my birthday weekend! The birthday stickers are from one of MAMBI’s birthday sticker packs. There are also some stickers from different value packs showing up here. I love how it all came together!

Here is the back of the MAMBI pocket page protector page. The top two cards are from the same month themed pocket page card that I linked above. I love that the one on the top right had me record some more fun details about this birthday. The two bottom pictures are from the day of my birthday. The picture to the left is of my twin sister and me. We went to lunch at a local burger spot to celebrate our birthday together! The picture on the right is from my birthday dinner that my husband took me to. It was such a fun birthday! I’m officially in my last year left in my 20s!

And here is the entire layout side by side. Normally it would drive my crazy that the two sides don’t match, but normally the pocket page protector is there and it does a great job of splitting up the two pages. Overall, I love how it turned out!

Just a note, I will be out of town next Monday– so my blog post about my third week of memory planning will be up late! Be on the lookout for it on Wednesday, July 20th. I can’t wait to share it with you!

I already can’t wait to get started on memory planning next week. Do any of you use your Happy Planner to memory plan? How did your second week turn out in your memory planner? I’d love to hear about your week and see photos! Leave a comment below or go tag me in your picture on my IG- @kellofaplan !
Happy planning!

  1. I love this layout! The page protector was a great way to split your different “themes”. You are really inspiring me as I am starting my “happy planner journey” and attempting to use it as a memory planner. Thank you!
