This is not a sponsored post. I just really, really love my Happy Planner and want to share the love and ideas!
Our third week in our new planners is wrapping up, and I don’t know about you, but I am loving mine! I am using “Botanical Garden” for my day to day planning, and to see my most recent spread there you can click here. I am using my “Be Bright” planner as a memory planner, so today I am going to update on my third week of memory planning!

The first half of this week involved a LOT of hanging out with my niece and twin sister. I am loving having them back in DFW! I feel like looking at this page, it looks like I have a baby! But that is just my adorable niece that I spend almost every day with! I choose to do a pink and yellow spread this week because I thought it paired nicely with the colors of the dates at the top. I also love how bright and cheerful it is. These colors remind me of pink lemonade, which also reminds me of summer, so it was a win win in my book!
Below you will find the second half of my week in my memory planner. We left Thursday morning for a trip to Connecticut to visit two of our best friends- Scatie. (Scott & Katie). They recently had their first daughter, so we were very excited to meet her and spend three days with them exploring Connecticut! We had never been to New England, and it was so beautiful! On Sunday morning, we caught a train to New York City for a few days in the city. It was an AMAZING trip!
We took SO many photos on this trip that there was no way I could fit them all into one vertical column per day. Therefore, I pulled out my trusty MAMBI pocket page protectors! I love this one because it has 12 2-inch boxes! I printed my pictures so that they were 2 inches wide, then I cut them to be 2 inches high as well. I added some washi to a few of them! Above is the front side of the pocket page protector- these are some of our favorite pictures from Connecticut. Below is an upclose shot of that page as well.
I did the same thing with pictures on the back side of that pocket page protector. Above you can see the page with the entire spread, and below is an upclose shot of the page protector. I LOVE how these MAMBI page protectors add even more places for photos!
There you have it- week three in my memory planner! I love how it turned out. I think this is such a fun alternative to scrapbooking and a great way to document our days!
I already can’t wait to get started on memory planning next week. Do any of you use your Happy Planner to memory plan? How did your third week turn out in your memory planner? I’d love to hear about your week and see photos! Leave a comment below or go tag me in your picture on my IG- @kellofaplan !
