Pic•Tap•Go

This is not a sponsored post. I just really love this app and wanted to share the love with the rest of you!

One of the biggest questions I see floating around the planner world is, “How does everyone make their pictures look so professional? I only have an iPhone, and my pictures never look that great!”

I use to be in the same boat! I would try to get the best lighting possible without buying fancy equipment, I would mess with the editing options on Instagram, but my photos were never up to par with other planner babes.

That is until April Orr (@momruncraft) posted on her IG about an app called Pic-Tap-Go. This app has changed my photos for the better, and I never post a photo without putting it through this app!

Above is an example of the wonders that this app can produce. On the left is my original photo. I try to take my photos in the afternoon when the natural lighting is best in my office, but let’s be honest, it doesn’t always happen. I decided to snap this picture one morning before work when it was still dark outside! How was I ever going to get great lighting? But never fear- Pic-Tap-Go made this picture look 100000 times better! (The original photo is on the left, the edited photo is on the right.)

I decided I would show you how to use this app to improve your photos for instagram! If you follow these super easy steps, you will see a HUGE improvement in your photos!

First, you just add the photo into the app and then click the edit button in the top right corner.

You then scroll down a bit to the editing options. I always click “Auto Color” first, and then I scroll back down and click “Lights On” second. Sometimes if the picture needs more editing, I will click on another tool as well. (“Crispity” is awesome and sometimes “Cool it Down” is needed as well!)

If you put a filter on that you don’t like, you can simply click the “Undo” button in the bottom left corner and it will take it away! If you then realize that you actually did like it, you just click “Redo” in the bottom right corner to get it back. HOW EASY IS THAT!!

When you are finished, you click the “Go” button in the top right corner, then scroll down and save it to your camera roll. That’s it! You’re finished! Isn’t that so easy?? And yet so amazing??

So with just a few taps, I went from the photo on the left to the photo on the right. This app is so easy to use and makes your photos look more “professional”!

What tips do you have for people who want to improve their photos on Instagram? Leave your tips in the comment below, or go over to my IG (@kellofaplan) and tell me there! I can’t wait to hear your tips!
